Are There Any Home Remedies for Acne?

Deeply clogged pores. If you are one of the unlucky
ones ( I was) who has the kind of pores that just stay
clogged no matter what, then you know that simple face
washing routines just make your stubborn pores shrug
and laugh.

After trying many different daily washing  routines, here
is the one that works for me.

1. Steam. You have to use steam. Only steam will
unclog deeply clogged pores. If you don't have a
commercial steamer, you can bend over a pot of hot
water with a towel over your head for the same effect.
Steam until you are really sweating. If you're sweating,
it means that your pores can at least do their basic job,
which is to allow your body to sweat to rid itself of
toxins and waste.

2. Glycerin Soap. Once opened, use a glycerin soap.
Neutrogena makes one, but so do almost every drug
store chain.  Then rinse with warm water.

3. Steamer-Phase 2  Then, it's back to the steamer to
reopen the pores. Steam again until you have sweated.

4. Rehydrate. Drink a tall glass of water, at least 8
ounces to replace the fluids you are sweating off.

5. Clay Mask. Next, use a clay mask. The mask brings
the impurities closer to the surface. After the mask
dries, wash with warm water. You will need several
applications if your pores are really clogged.  But be
patient. This regime works.
