Is there any effective natural home remedy for acne scars? First of all, not all acne scars are created equal. Acne Scars come in different colors and each one requires a different approach. Scars also differ in age, and you will find that the newer scars are more susceptible to treatment than older, darker scars. For red acne scars, try using bio oil. Bio oil was developed to treat stretch marks. But it also works great on red acne scars. For older, dark scars, try using Vitamin E. You can find pure Vitamin E at almost any corner drug store or chain. CVS, GNC, Walgreen's Kmart, even Walmart. Read the label. Avoid Vitamin E which has been perfumed. Here's the best trick. Exfoliate first. All of these scar treatments work better on fresh skin. Gently exfoliate the scar by using a sugar scrub. Then rinse with warm water.
